Principle
Microwave Moisture Detector was designed for non-destructive moisture measurements INSIDE various building materials.
Application
With the internal moisture detection in various locations and depth in the structure, a 2-D or 3-D microwave tomographic image can be built up by the computer. It shows the moisture distribution inside the structure.

Principle
Microwave Moisture Detector was designed for non-destructive moisture measurements INSIDE various building materials.
- Apply electrical field (i.e. Microwave) to the material
- E-field induces oscillations of bipolar molecule (i.e. Water)
- Water molecule will both reflect and absorb E-field during oscillations
- E-field reflected increases, water content increases.
